What you notice when you finally slow down

Summer can feel like it should be the easy season. Longer days, slower pace, time off. But I've noticed something in my practice over the years: a lot of people come to me in summer not because things are falling apart, but because they finally have the space to notice how they actually feel.

What summer reveals

The school year ends. The project wraps. The holidays are months away. And in that quiet window, the body speaks up. You notice the tension you've been carrying since February. You feel the grief you set aside because there wasn't room for it. You recognize the low-grade exhaustion that kept getting pushed to the bottom of the list.

Summer doesn't cause these things. It just gives you enough stillness to feel them.

Why that's actually a good thing

That's not a bad thing. In fact, it's an opening. When you can feel what's there, you can work with it. And that's where energy work meets you. Not to push through or power past, but to help your system process what it's been holding.

If you're ready

If you've been waiting for the right time, this might be it. Not because there's urgency, but because there's room.
