Dialoguing with Your Body: Part 1

Journaling about your body

Our body communicates with and to us

so that we will hear, understand and

make needed changes to come into greater health.

At a basic level, of course we all do listen to our bodies. If I feel cold in the winter, I put on another layer or add wood to the stove. If I’m blazing with a fever, I don’t go to work, I rest and either allow the fever to work itself out or use fever reducers. When I’m hungry, I feed myself.

My focus here though is on intuitive listening to discern the deeper cause or meaning of a physical issue or cause. Before I share my thoughts, I do recommend that you share any physical concerns with your healthcare professional.

I have had clients with a series of issues on one side of their bodies, whether it be accidents or other ailments. The intuitive guidance I have received in cases like these is that the person is energetically off center left-to-right.

This kind of information creates curiosity. What could it mean that I’m energetically shifted to my right? When they hear the right side pertains to their masculine, action-oriented side, they start making connections. Often what is revealed is a pattern of over-work and under-restoration. Another question. What do I need to do to get back to my center?

I love it when clients get engaged and start to dialogue with their body! They are stepping into their own Self-Healing.

I encourage you to start an ongoing dialogue with your body. Journal. Talk to your body-self out loud. Expect your body’s wisdom to communicate needed changes in your conscious choices. Act on what you learn.
